Key Responsibilities

As a Tableau Developer at Infosys, you will:

Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
Connect Tableau with multiple data sources, including databases, files, and cloud platforms.
Develop and optimize SQL queries for efficient data extraction and transformation.
Build interactive visualizations, KPIs, scorecards, and executive dashboards.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to visualization best practices.
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Improve dashboard performance using extracts, filters, calculated fields, and optimized queries.
Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and support enterprise data governance standards.
Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate dashboards with enterprise data pipelines.

Additional Responsibilities

Candidates with experience in the following areas will have an added advantage:

Tableau Prep for data preparation and cleansing.
Python or R for data analysis and automation.
Cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools.
Data warehousing concepts and enterprise reporting environments.

Technical & Professional Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud.
Excellent proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation.
Experience in designing interactive dashboards and business reports.
Good understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
